::: 2015 Bolt Action Escalation :::
 During October and November, we'll be running a Bolt Action Escalation event for four consecutive weeks. The games begin on October 22nd and run each week through November 12th. The objective is to bring a fully painted and based Bolt Action force to our regular Thursday night Game Night each week. Been wanting to get into Bolt Action but don't know where to start? Or maybe you've been playing Bolt Action for a while and you want to try running a platoon from another nation? Or maybe you've started a new army but got distracted by other things? Well, the Delta 6 Bolt Action Escalation League is the answer to your prayers (or curses depending upon your mindset.) Starting Thursday, October 22, we'll kick off a four (4) week Bolt Action Escalation League. So what exactly does that mean? Here's what you need to know in a nutshell (for the TL:DR crowd):
Week One (Oct 22) show up at Mid South Hobbies with a 350 point painted Bolt Action Generic Reinforced Platoon, fight a battle and have fun! That means no Theatre Selectors (if you're new to Bolt Action and don't know what that means, don't worry about it we'll fill you in!) You must have at a minimum, a Lieutenant, and two (2) five (5) man infantry squads, anything else you can fit in to the 350 is a bonus! "Painted" is a relative term here. Do we expect you to show up with models that are museum quality? No! Do we expect you to show up with bare metal or plastic models? No. Are we the Hobby Police? No!!! We're trying to get people motivated to paint and explore new aspects of the hobby! Will we turn you away if some (or all) of your models aren't painted? No! We're playing with toy soldiers, not trying win painting competitions. However, it's common knowledge that painted models fight better, we're just trying to help you win your battles! Week Two (Oct 29) bring a 500 point painted Bolt Action Generic Reinforced Platoon. Fight a battle and have fun! Week Three (Nov 5) bring a 750 point painted Bolt Action Generic Reinforced Platoon. Fight a battle and have fun! Week Four (Nov 12) I'm guessing you see a trend here-fight a battle with your 1000 point Bolt Action Generic Reinforced Platoon and have fun! By the end of the Escalation League, you'll have a painted force ready for tournaments! Ain't that something?!? Other Stuff You Need to Know: Please show up as close to 6:00 PM (1800) as you can. We want to try to start killing toy soldiers no later than 6:30 (1830). No entry fees! We would prefer a single reinforced platoon per player, but if you feel like the only way to win is with two platoons, go right ahead. We're here to have fun! Are you crying? Don't be That Guy!
